The SARS-CoV-2 Neutralizing Antibody Test Kit is for the qualitative detection of neutralizing antibodies to SARS-CoV-2 in human serum, plasma or whole blood sample.

The neutralizing antibodies of SARS-CoV-2 is stimulated by the immunogen (or pathogen) of SARS-CoV-2, which secretes immunoglobulins (antibodies) that can bind to immunogen (or pathogen) by plasma cells in the body. Some of these immunoglobulins (antibodies) can bind to the surface receptors of pathogens, thereby blocking the invasion of pathogens. This is a neutralizing antibody to SARS-CoV-2. Neutralizing antibody against SARS-CoV-2 can resist human immune SARS-CoV-2 infection. Therefore, the detection of neutralizing antibodies against SARS-CoV-2 has important clinical significance for patients with convalescent infection or for vaccination of SARS-CoV-2 vaccine.
